Polaroid PDC640

I used to be able to download all our photo's from our Polaroid PDC640 camera. That is before we upgraded to Windows Xp Professional. Now we are told that our camera & scanner are not compatable to Xp. I even tried to download newer drivers. But there is none. Are we going to have to buy a new camera or is their something we can get or do so we can use the Polaroid PDC640 Camera. My wife really enjoys taking pictures. We have thousands of picture's but now we can't download our pictures to our Pc anymore. What can we do?
