I am using a Windows Intellimouse Explorer 2.0. I have installed Microsoft
IntelliType Pro/Intellipoint version 620.182.0. In the pointer options
section, I have place a check in the box to hide the pointer while typing.
The pointer does not hide. I have removed and reintalled the driver to no
avail.

Can anyone help me to hide the pointer when I type?

Operating System Windows XP (5.01.2600)
Internet Explorer 6.00.2900.2180
MSN Client 9.50.0039.1900

Move it down to the bottom right hand corner where it won't be visible.

Perhaps reducing hardware acceleration in the video driver would help
correct the issue.

(Display Properties, Settings, Advanced, Troubleshoot, move the slider
left a notch at a time and test)

Thank you for your response. I do move the pointer out of the way. Nonetheless, the purpose of placing a check in box to hide the pointer while typing is defeated by having to manually do so. The software is supposed to do it for me.

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, I was unable to find the slider
by clicking mouse in the control panel.
