Pointer options

I used to have an option that 'selected' icons from
a gallery of icons just by passing the pointer over
them, not clicking. And selecting by single
clicking rather than double clicking, on text like links.
And I can't seem to find it any more. Has it been removed
in an update, or where is it, and thank you.

Folder Options> General.
You'll find the options for single click mode and double click mode on that
screen.
