Pocket PC Icon Format

Anybody know the image format of the icons that Pocket PC
2002/2003 uses for it's Apps? We've tried the following
without success:
16 x 16 16 Colors
32 x 32 16 Colors
16 x 16 256 Colors
32 x 32 256 Colors

Hi Bill,

That should work ... what sort of problem are you running into? Are you
getting build errors, poor display, or ???

Per the SDK "User Interface Guidelines", Pocket PC application icons should
be 32 x 32 and 16 x 16. It mentions 1bpp for notification icons, but also
include 4bpp (16 colors) and 8bpp (256 colors) for the widest compatibility.

Let us know more details and we can advise further.
