Pocket PC Database Apps

Hi there, im looking at developing an add on for a current application that im writting that would allow me to use the data on the SQL on my server and run a similar kind of database application on the pocket PC. The idea would be that the pocket PC could search the data and return results. I would not necessarly expect to update the database from the Pocket PC. I hope this makes sense and hopefully someone may be able to advise me where to go to find out more
