I recently purchased a Dell PDA. I've installed MS's
eMbedded VB3.0 for PDA application development. This is
absolutely new for me. Although its appearance is very
similar to VB, I've found many features are not available.

I realize this is a MS Access forum, my question is this.
Has anyone attempted to develop PDA apps with
PocketAccess? Since this is new for me, any tips or
samples would be appreciated - specifically in the area of
reading/writing to a .cdb (pocket access database) and/or
text files.

One of my colleagues did some work with eMbedded VB and the CDB ('Pocket
Access') format. He tells me that, as far as manipulating data in the CDB
using ADOCE was concerned, it was not significantly different to
manipulating data in JET using ADODB. He had to resort to using API calls to
read and write to text files, though.

You'll likely get a more detailed response in one of the newsgroups
dedicated to mobile development.
