PNY USB stick dissapears with Ready Boost ?

I have a PNY USB stick configured for ReadyBoost. Runs great except is
usually needs to be re-installed at every boot and restart. I've had this
happen with two different sticks of the same brand.

Anything I'm doing wrong here ? Why aren't these sticks detected at reboot
?

Have you tried a different USB port since the one you are using may not be
enabled yet at boot time?

Thanks. Yes, the sticks I'm using are capable and in fact do run quite well
in RB. The issue is that I have to install them almost every single boot -
then - they run great.

I have 4 USB in the back, 3 in the front and four on a remote port.
Swapping the stick into other ports on other locations doesn't seem to help.
