Plz Plz Help. XP not working as usual 9User account not working at all)

Hello I am having a severe problem. My computer was working perfectly and early this morning when I awoke I turned my Computer on. And I selected my account name on the welcome screen. However When my personal settings load none of the icons I.e. windows media player, Internet explorer or anything at all including the help and support section and any of my files. To use the internet I have had to use another account I have on my computer.

What should I do? I really need access to that account because all of my work, music and everything important is on that account.
 
Do a system restore to a date when all was working well.
