I have just gotten a new motherboard ram and processor. a
asrock p4i45E 256 MB and a pentium 4 processor.and a new
box for the computer. when i moved it all over everything
went fine but then it could not start windows xp. so i
put in the cd and told it to repair xp. then it asks me
what win insataltion to log into and i take the only one.
then it ask for administrator passvord. since i have none
i press enter. and now im stuck in dos. anyone know what
to do?

I could be wrong but since you are using the "R" (repair) option you must
use the administrator password which exists for the OS you are repairing.

Boot the CD again but don't take the "repair" option, do an
install and while in "install" take the repair install
option.

Your old mobo probably had special drivers, which need to
be deleted. My guess is that you need to run a fresh
install. You will lose any data not backed up and any custom
program settings.
