"plz give me the codes as well as the guidence

hi to all!

actually i am doing a final year project.in which i 've to make a
email to sms and viceversa.i want to know that how this code is
connected to SMTP as well as POP3 for mail sending and receiving.i 've
a code but the problem is of the connectivity to the servers.if u have
the code in vb.net regarding that plz give it to me and also tell me
about the connectivity.
i shall be greatful to u people.
 
Not sure I can give any guidance on connectivity as you haven't specified
what type of device you are using and how it connects to the internet.
