I posted the following request in the Plus! Newsgroup
almost 3 months ago and received no response. Now I
know that Plus! is an orphan that was abandoned by
Microsoft soon after its birth........but it does have
a sequential slideshow capability in Screen Saver not
available in regular XP.
---------------------------------------------------------
Can somebody tell me how I can tell the Plus! screensaver
slide show to use a particular file that I have created
separately for the slide show instead of "Plus! My Pictures".
Or perhaps a subset of the 200 slides which I have in the
My Pictures folder.

Thank you.
-----------------------------------------------------------
What I'm having difficulty is doing, starts with the fact that
I can't even Search and find the Plus! My Pictures folder
that's the source of my screen saver slideshow, so that I
can edit that slide show.

Any help will be appreciated.

I can't help you with Plus! but you might like to take a look at the
free image manager Picasa. It can create slideshows and a lot more. It
might meet your needs better than Plus! anyway.

Thank you, Malke. I'll look at it....but you realize, what I'm trying to
do is make a slide show of my own pictures, using the Screen Saver
feature of XP. When my keyboard is idle for 10 minutes, will Picasa
be able to take over?

I believe you can create a slideshow using your own pictures with Picasa
and I think you can use it as a screensaver. You'd need to check that
out for yourself though. I don't use Windows and therefore don't use
Picasa but it is a really nice program that we install for many of our
Windows clients.

Don't have Plus! on this computer but would it not be done in a similar way
to the My Pictures or My Pictures Premium slideshow screensavers? Use the
browse button within the screensaver Settings to point to the folder that
has the pictures you want to display in it?

Hi Bill
Picassa can create a screensaver using your own photos as a slide show and
it will activate from at any selected time from 1 minute up.

Thanks for answering that question, Bill P. It's very useful to know.
