I am trying to burn an album by Andrea Bocelli but get a message saying that
a dedicated plugin may be required. Can anyone tell me how to obtain one.

Presumably you have managed to burn CDs before. Is it possible that the CD
you are trying to copy is one of the many modern copy protected ones?
 
This is an album I have downloaded and it has an ' ape ' extension. I think
that probably I'll have to search the Net for a programme that will change
the extension to MP3.
 
APE is a special file type and NOT supported by most players. You need to
find a converting program to convert the .ape to .mp3 or .wma or some file
type that is usable. Xilisoft Audio Converter is an excellent converter. I
am sure there are others that will work also. I do NOT know of any free
converters that will work.
