Plugin question

How does IE select plugins for viewing different filetypes? I want to view
*.dwg files and I have two different plugins for this..Volo Views and Jvue..
Now, it seems IE has a problem to decide wich one to use.. IE tries to open
with the Volo View plugin, but fails.. I want to be able to specify wich
plugin to use! Where is this selected..in the registry?

AFAIK it simply reads the directory where the plugin are and uses the
first one it encounters. It is not necessarily the order in which the
plugin are listed in Explorer mind you. It's really the order they are
on the hard disk!
