ALSO SPOKEN WITH MICROSOFT FOR 2 HOURS WHO TRIED TO PUT THE DRIVERS ON WHO
THEN COLD DROPPED ME TO FUJI! THE CAMERA WORKS FINE I'VE USED IT ON XP AND
LOADS PERFECT! NOT ON MY NEW COMPUTER WITH VISTA! IS THERE AN UPDATE FROM
VISTA THAT I NEED TO DOWNLOAD TO GET MY CAMERA TO WORK? I DON'T WANT TO USE
AN ADAPTOR I WANT TO GO DIRECTLY FROM MY CAMERA TO MY COMPUTER. PLEASE IF
ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM LET ME KNOW!! THANKS!!

Jenifer;
If the link Freddy gave does not help, try the camera on another
Windows Vista computer.
Working on an XP computer is no guarantee nothing is wrong with the
camera.

If it works on the other Vista computer, you have done something wrong
or this Vista installation is somehow corrupted.
If it doesn't, you know it is the camera or drivers.

Also, please do not post in ALL CAPS.
It is more difficult to read ALL CAPS
Posting to newsgroups in ALL CAPS is considered shouting and rude.

I hear you but using a card reader has many advantages apart from just
plain working. Many PCs and Printers have card readers built in or you
can buy USB plug in ones for a few dollars.

Then you don't use the camera batteries and you usually get much faster
transfers. You also are free to use any imaging software you want and
not just what comes with the camera.

I just wanted to Thank You for your help with my digital camera not working
with Vista, I finally figured out the problem. It was auctually a conflict
with the software program that I must have added on my computer and I ended
up having to restore my computer to factory settings and my digital camera
works perfect, sad news is that I had to lose all the files I had on my
computer but at least I know it's not a problem with Vista and not a problem
with Fuji, it ended up being the user LOL I wish I knew what software was
causing the driver issue so you could inform other users with this problem.
The only way I was able to do it was a reload. Thanks Again!!
