plot a series of line segements, one for each row?

say I have a table and the rows are of the form
X1 Y1 X2 Y2
which are the endpoints of line segments
I want to plot each row as a line segment,
each separate not joined to each other.
Can Excel do this?
(or can an alternative like Open Office do it?)

Format your data like this:

X Y
1
2

1
2

1
2

The blank rows between each pair will result in line segments instead of
continuous lines.
