Welcome Tunix :thumb:

2 new members in 1 day! Nice.

Cheers CITech,

Bit of a bugger that i had to re-register though, lets see what this overclocked Sempron 3000+ can do... i have also stuck BOINC onto a AMD 64 3400+ but i'm not sure how long that is around for, think it's being turned off to be setup for a client soon.

Plonker.

You could have at least chosen something more original ... like IMRIEChris.

Nope,

It themes in with my domain name :p

I see the Michael John Webb PC is doing pretty well, and isn't that also a Sempron 3000+ Mucks?

Yes it is a Sempron 3000 ... personally I'm a bit annoyed with its performance, based on my 2500, it should be trundling out nearly 1,000 points a day ... it is not. :(

I should bin XP pro off it and stick Linux on and see what happens. :thumb:

Do it, BOINC on my AMD 64 3400+ is pretty good, it manages to get quite a lot of points daily.

But i have to use Windows on my Sempron due to webdesign etc..

What does Tunix mean?

Is it like Unix... with a T on the front? or what...

chris

p.s welcome to the team! i look to be overtaking other you soon.

Yeah something like that ;)

And yeah it's obvious i'll be overtaken, my computer went bang, what do you expect! :p

Don't worry i'll soon be climbing back up the table.
