Thanks :)

It says primary task is executing, what happens when it gets to 100%
Just leave it ... it will do all it has to, all by itself.

;)

Welcome aboard Stuartw101, great to have you on the team!!:thumb:

Just a quick addition to what Mucks has said:

At 100% it automatically sends the result over the internet and downloads the next work unit - if you are not connected at that time, then it pauses until you are - so its best to have an always on internet connection to get continuous working.

:)

Cool, thanks for your help. Im expecting to be at the top of that list by the end of the month ;)

Nah, im sure i will be at the bottom most of the time lol

Well, by the end of the month I excpect you'll be off the bottom of the pack ... at least. :thumb:

Keep an eye on the CPU temp for an hour ... if all is stable, keep it running 24/7 and you'll be up the table in no time. ;)

Welcome to the team! Check your user control panel on the site and you'll be able to set a custom user name :)

How do i check the temps? The CPU usage is 100% and PF usage is 631MB.
That is fine ... what MB are you using?

I use "Everest Home Edition" to check any Windows box ... but it ain't free anymore ... your MB should have a Temp Monitor on its CD ... failing that, there are other programs out there.

Seek and ye shall find ... ;)

Not sure if this helps explain anything? Im using 512MB RAM.

Thanks for the link :)

Sorry i wasn't ignoring your advice :p I posted the pic before i saw your post. After downloading Harware Sensors monitor and leaving it running for 10mins or so i took a screenshot for you.

The mainboard and HDD temp seems to stay the same and its the CPU 1 that changes along with cooling fans and voltages.

Cool, i thought everyone had better pc's than me so if mine isnt in the red it must be doing something right :) I only have 3 fans in my computer, one at the back of the pc, one on the motherboard (on the cpu?) and a small one next to the pci=e card.

But why isnt the Mainboard temp changing but the CPU is?
err, 'cos the CPU is an engine ... the harder it works the hotter it will get.

You don't want it around 60c though. ;)
