I get the error "Windows was unable to complete the format" even after
uninstalling the Drag-to-disk 6.1.1.48. Will the hotfix help me?

Is "Drag-to-Disk" file system better than FAT32?

"Drag to Disk" is a file system name in "Drag to Disk" Disk Properties". Is
UDF file system better than FAT32?

Will the hotfix help me with "Drag-to-disk 6.1.1.48" instead of "InCD 4"?
Hi

This hotfix is included in SP2 for WinXP, so an alternative
is to install SP2.

The network installation package of the English version of SP2
should be available from Microsoft Download Center later today.

The Russian version will be available later on (can take up to
4 weeks).

I use the English version.

Hi, Dmitriy.

UDF (Universal Disk Format?) is a file system, but it is used only for
CD/DVDs, which cannot use FAT32.

Drag-to-Disk is a utility program that lets us copy from HD (using FAT or
NTFS) to CD/DVD (using UDF), using the Windows GUI (Windows Explorer, etc.),
so that we don't have to use "DOS" commands. At least, that's my
understanding. Some guru should be along soon to explain it to both of us.

DVD-RAM can use FAT32 and UDF. "Drag to Disk" is a file system name in "Drag
to Disk" Disk Properties" window. Clicking "Disk Properties" in "Drag to
Disk" program menu calls up the "Drag to Disk" Disk Properties" window.
