Do you have small business server or exchange? If you do
you dont want to use your ISP's POP and SMTP server you
can have your own. All you have to do is register a
domain name( if you havent already) and ask your isp to
make "MX Record" for the ip address of your server. Then
you configure smtp server(make sure the service starts
with the computer) and also not to relay unauthenticated
users. Then all your employees mail clients need to point
to your server.

If you dont have small business server or exchange and
dont want to buy email server software, you can just have
all the employees in your office point to the smtp and pop
information your isp gave you. You dont have to configure
your smtp server since you wont be using it.

1) make sure your isp forwards the smtp ports and pop3 ports to your
server on the router as well

2) add users in active directory which should automatically create
email boxes

3) edit your default reciepient policy and the exchange management
consule to reflect your domain name

Im not quite sure of the exact steps. I even forgot what even i did
already. I am a trial an error kind of a person.

A good site is http://www.msexchange.org/
