Please recommend Sync/Backup Software

I will probably do a Google search as well, but I am wondering if there is
anyone who has good luck with a Sync/Backup program. This is what I need it
to do:

I have files in my MY DOCUMENTS folder that are constantly changing. I have
an external USB hard drive that I want to backup and synchronize to. I need a
program or utility that will

1. Look at the files in MY DOCUMENTS and make sure they are also on the USB
External drive
2. Look at the files in MY DOCUMENTS and make sure the newest version of
that file is on the USB External drive
3. If the program has a scheduler, that is just icing on the cake.
4. I don’t care if it’s free or cost money, I just want it to work!

I have been using the free MS one for a few months and no issue's.
Dont know if there is a Scheduler or not, I do not use that.
