I had Windows XP, Norton AV, WinFax, Outlook 2003 and all my other
programs installed on my computer for over 2 years. Now when I attempt
to get my mail in Outlook, a message comes up that it cannot connect
with my ISP...(not true). I tried uninstalling Norton and reinstalling
to no avail. Now I am also finding another quirk - when I try to type
in email, the letters will not type and this is happening in Word as
well....I keep hitting the keyboard to no avail....but I certainly am
typing here!

A virus you say? Well, I thought I had something this morning in a
bloodhound.exploit.6.virus but there is no such animal and a complete
virus scan brought me up clean!

So.....how about some help from experts? I really need you.

Thanks!

Start with a repair of Office as you stated your problem isn't limited to
Outlook.

Note that you can't have this setup for 2 years already as Outlook 2003
wasn't there yet.

Also recreating your profile after an upgrade of Outlook is a good practise.
To do this go to;
Control Panel-> Mail-> button Show Profiles...

are you using an office trial version? if not, did you ever have the trial
or a beta version installed?
