This machine seems to run perfectly. However, in the tray there is an icon
which yields this message:

"Please install supported driver or port."

I have no idea what this is talking about since the machine seems to run
fine.
Any ideas?

Have you installed the chipset drivers for the motherboard?

This is a Dell machine, and everything was installed from a single XP disk.
Should I still have a drivers disk??

I am not familiar with how Dell sets up their machines...
if that was the CD than came with the computer...everything you need should
be on it
