PLease help

I have internet explorer 6 with a blue tool bar that I do
not want , I do not know how to remove it for good.
I just downloaded google tool bar and i tryed hinding the
blue toolbar and opening goggle, but when i open a new
page online, the blue bar comes back and google os gone.
I really want google tool bar and the blue bar to
disappear.Can any one help
 
try this:
goto control panel/internet option, advanced tab, run down the options and
make sure that "Enable visual styles on buttons and controls in web pages"
is UNchecked.
 
Ok I'm not sure if it's cause I'm using windows 98 but I
dont seem to have ( enable visual styles on buttons and
controls in web page)
I do have Accessibility
Browsing
HTTP 1.1
Microsoft UM
Multimedia
Printing
Search for address bar
Security

It should be in the Browsing section, but I don't have a Win98 machine to
check.
