please help!!

i know this isnt to do with microsoft games but i couldnt find the windows
xp newsgroup

whenever i start up my computer it asks me with operating system i want to
use out of windows xp and (boot file)windows xp i can load up either and
they both come up the same, but my question is how i stop that screen coming
up when i turn on my computer?

i just want it go straight into windows xp without that dos screen

can anybody please?

Rob, go to the Windows control panel, system, advanced tab then startup and
recovery, check the system startup options at the top of the window: choose
the default and uncheck the list display, be extra careful if you choose to
modify the boot.ini file directly...
