program again.Can u help?

Hi

Check the CDs you have. You may find that they include MS Works. Otherwise
you will have to purchase the program separately:

I saw MS WORKS 7.0 on sale this past week for $29.95. If
you want WORKS and WORD you can buy the WORKS SUITE for
about $100.00

Also, if you are a student or teacher, you can get Office 2003 for about
$125 sometimes lower. Pick up a class at your local junior college and
you are good to go. I actually was never even asked if I was a student
when I purchased it.

If you get MS OFFICE, you can download the file converters
so you can read and edit the old WORKS documents from the
Office download center.

I don't think there is a need to download file converters as Office 2003
can read all file types including Open Office documents. The import
feature may need to be installed from the CD, but it should be able to
read all previous versions of documents from most office suites. Then
you can simply save those files through Word 2003 as a Word document
instead.

I think that the WORKS format for his old files is not
supported without the converters. They are free and don't
cause any problems.
