Diane

We have Windows XP. My account is okay, but the other
two accounts cannot access any files, such as My
Documents, My Pictures, Control Panel etc...they get
Microsot Visual C++ Runtime Library Program
C:\Windows\Explorer.exe This program has requested the
Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. I've tried
running sfc/scannnow and it won't run on their accounts.
I did run it on mine though. I have worked on this for
months and can't figure it out. I have posted this
earlier but didn't get a response...I'm sure someone out
there has a solution to my problem. Please help me out.
What is Runtime Library anyway? What ever it is, it has
sure messed things up! I'm looking forward to a reply
from someone. Thanks, Diane

Hi Diane,
I hope I could help with your problem...
There are 2 types of accounts first is the "COMPUTER
ADMINISTRATOR" and second is "LIMITED"...now if you
choice com.admi. you can do everything on the computer,
from program installation, and other stuffs (you've got
freedom in other word) but in limited you can only make
your own files and chage your account info. you can't
install programs or whatsoever..... In order to access
everything change the account type into com.admi....if
you have further questions about this just e-mail
me...But i can't help you everything let's just see if i
know something!!!!

cheers Diane,
lloyd
