Please help!

Hi!
I am sorry if this is a really stupid question... but i just can seem to get
this right.
My problem is that i can't change the set in a Wtf folder, is this because
it is in programfiles? So vista won't let me change the settings?
I am trying to set realmlist.... And i get "Can not make the file c:\Program
Files\World of Warcraft\realmlist.wtf."
Please help me (Yes i know it is World of Warcraft!), but i really cant fix
this problem!

install the program somewhere other than program files
because Vista thinks that is more secure...
I install a lot of things to C:\old programs\program name

Vista doesn't like programs writing to the program files folder.

I suggest that you go to the directory the file resides in with Explorer
and check what permissions your user account has on the folder, along
with what permissions User\machine name\user has on the folder.

This is just a little FYI, but I want to the folder properties for the
MailWasher folder and clicked on the Read property that set every file
in the folder to read only. Every time I exited the MW program, it
started hollering about it couldn't make two log files it was trying to
replace in the folder, until I clicked on the folder's Read property to
disable read-only for all files in the folder.
