please help

i have vista home basic and i am having alot of trouble publishing.when i go
to publish a prodject movie maker shuts down.no error message nothing just
stops and shuts down.can anyone help i've been pulling my hair out over this
trying to do my daughters first year in photos and music to give to reletives
on dvd.

MM is best used as a video editor, if you are just using photos consider
using photosotry 3, free from MS
