please help

For some reason, everytime I try and open my taskmanager
or run msconfig my computer opens the programs for about
a second and then closes them automatically. I am trying
to control what programs are opening automatically upon
startup but I am unable to even see anything let alone
make any changes, in the amount of time my task manager
or system configuration tool remains open. It's like my
computer has a life of it's own. Please help.

look for the fix,restore run,and then restore msconfig
utility,then restore task manager-click the links and
open them up,should get you going again.The site is
managed by MicroSoft MVP's.
