This file is installed with the program called "Fastlane."
It is installed along with the Earthlink, if approved, by
the suscriber.
The purpose of the program is "supposedly" to monitor your
modem for connection problems, speed, etc, save the
problem to a file and periodically report the problem to
Earthlink. Many people think the software is spyware.
You have two choices, either disable the software or
remove it as it isn't required for normal Earthlink
operation.
To remove it, go to start, settings, add/remove programs,
click on Fastlane, and select remove.
To disable it, open Windows Explorer, go to c:\program
files\EarthLink\Fastlane folder.
Double-click on ARMcfg32.exe. Uncheck the Enable Dialup
Monitor option and click OK.
