CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME, I THOUGHT MICROSOFT MONITERD
THESE NEWSGROUP
All of a sudden a network printer was not working for

a "user". When the user tried to print nothing

happens, no print, no error message. I went on as the

admin. and uninstalled the printer and reinstalled

the printer and the printer works fine under the

admmin. but didn't show up ao the "user". Today the

printer shows up for the "user" but when trying to

print nothing, no print, no error message. The

printer still works on admin. ???
 
I don't know what the problem is, based on what you say it would seem
that the network printer that the User sees in only a queue and nothing
more. Try deleting the printer the User sees and then reinstall.
 
I had pretty similar problem - suddenly network G85 printer stopped working
for all users expept Administrators. In my case the problem was in access
right. I had to allow access to c:\winnt\Temp folder to all users - it
solved the problem right the way (all other right was correct). May be it
