My company wants to implement Active Directory, we have about 2500 users. I
wonder if I should break up the users into groups and migrate group by group
or I should migrate them all at once. Is there benifit to break up them into
group? Please let me know.

Thanks

Generally, I would suggest migration at one time,
and cleanup of any remaining problems.

ADMTv2. There should be a test which will identify
likely problems before you do the actual migration.

Why are you migrating?

Are you running NT? Why not upgrade?

David,

I would suggest that you look into hiring a company to help you with at
least the planning phase of something like this. As companies et to be your
size, there tend to be a lot of integration issues and secondary systems
that can be affected.

Look for a company that has done domain migration and consolidation projects
in your business vertical so they will be familiar with the
industry-specific applications you are using.

Its not a mark of weakness to look for help and your management may very
well recognize that as appropriate management of risk.

Technically, ADMTv2 is great and an in-place upgrade of your servers might
work very well particularly if you don't have a large number of user and
resource domains or if you don't have a lot of restructuring to do.
