Celestial Sounds

In surfing the web (porno sites) in obviously clicked on some site
that placed on or did something to my computer causing my homepage to
be changed each time I start or restart my computer. Each time I start
my computer and pull up internet explorer, this search engine (which I
shall NEVER use or promote) comes up as my homepage. I deleted
internet files and cookies. How do I get this damn thing off of my
computer. I can change the homepage each time, but as soon as I
restart or start it is the first thing that comes up on my homepage on
internet explorer. And is this a security issue? Can there be
something trying to collect my passwords or something?

Thank you very much...

I would download some good anti-spyware program, like Spybot Search and
Destroy:

http://spybot.safer-networking.de/

and scan my PC with it. You will very probably find some installed
adware / spyware / whatever bad stuff -ware.

Heh, those porn sites will gitcha every time. At least that's what
someone told me.

Anyway, your description (search engine page) indicates the
CoolWebSearch hijacker. See this:
