PLEASE HELP WITH THE NOTEPAD LANGUAGE!!

My daughter has been using my husbands screen name (Mom's
sense these things) but when I go the notepad feature it
is written in a code I cannot understand. I have tried
the tips given to mefrom AOL but I get nowhere. Any
help? I would so appreciate it.

The words you use suggest you are not using Windows XP software and may
in fact be using AOL software, of which I am not familiar. Please
re-frame your question, or go direct to AOL for help.
 
is it just set to use a font which doesnt display regular characacters?

In notepad, Format / font / set to Ariel, regular, 8 for normal appearance

if not then maybe you need to give more details
