Windows XP Please help? Windows update..

Hi guys..

i can't seem to download my windows updates!
it does everything correctly all up to the download section. Then an error message comes up after telling me that all the downloads have failed.

the error code is: 0x80070057

What is this and how do I cure it?

thanks for the reply. But I'm sad to say that this didn't work.

It said that the key was already functioning.
