Please Help - Urgent

I have been wroking on a site for a couple of weeks,
live, which I never use to do - and suddenly today I try
to open the web, as I do every day, and I get an error
message saying that the "folder ... is no longer
available". Site is gone. Not on the net, not on my pc...
what has happened and how the $%*# am I going to find it
again!? Please help!!

Contact your host company and see if they have created
backups, if so have them restore the files. If they are
able to restore them, you should FTP the files to your
hard drive, so you have a local copy of your web.

Hope you are able to find them!

Thank you all so much. I've gotten the whole 'good
news/bad news' in the last hour. After doing a search
using "find files and folders" I discovered a folder named
My Webs2 that contained a copy of the web
(www.camperdans.com.top.html) - as it was about a week and
a good 30 hours of work ago. I have contacted the host
(Interland) who can restore, for a nominal fee ($700) but
they back up once every seven days and my luck I would be
worse off than I am now. I still have no earthly idea what
has happened to all of my work, except to say that my pc
decided to teach me a valuable lesson about being
lacksadaisical and over-confident. I'll be backing up now,
nightly.

If anyone has any suggestions as to where the "Magical
Restore" button is on the task bar, let me know...

Angela,

However can Interland explain what happen to your site on their server? When
working on site live, if you have problem with your local machine, there is
no reason that I can think of that would cause the site on the remote server
to be delete, if any thing, it would only effect the pages you currently had
open at the time of the problem on your local machine.
