Lauren

Hi,

I was recently warned about spyware by a friend and
decided to download this program to help protect myself.

Except that this program is infinitely worse than any
spyware. x.x When I check my task manager, this program
is using up 99% of my CPU. Only by the grace of God can I
use IE, and everything else is completely inoperable
because there's no memory left to open anything else.
What's worse, it is completely unresponsive when I try to
uninstall it -or- reinstall it so I can try to uninstall
it again. I can't even open the control panel to try and
delete it. And I can't delete it manually because it's
always running. When I end the task of the GIANT or
something antispyware network (?), which is the one using
all my memory, it immediately reloads. It's like some bad
science fiction movie where computers develop their own
consciousness and it's trying to save itself from being
deleted. I'm about ready to kill myself.

Can anyone tell me what in God's name I can do to get rid
of this program? It is easily the worst program I have
ever used.

I don't know how to use newsgroups really, so if you have
any advice please email me at wagashi (at) gmail.com. ;_;

Thanks in advance,
Lauren

I just read over my post and realized it was a little
harsh. I'm just a little stressed that this is happening
during final exams. Could it possibly be a virus of some
sort? It would be awful if I would have to reinstall
Windows and lose all my files. ;_;

If anyone could help I would be eternally grateful! :D

Your PC is probably heavily compromized with several
malwares.

Restart in safe mode, press F8 during boot.
Try to scan again.

Follow this also and relax.

After this I´m sure that MSAS will be your friend.

What antivirusprogram do you use ? updated ?

You can scan your PC with this:

Have you tried uninstalling through the Programs Group for AntiSpyware from
the Start Meny Lauren? You might have to reinstall it to do that or also try
using system restore. It would be best if you tried doing it Safe Mode, just
restart your PC and tap F8 until you see the prompt and select Safe Mode.

I seriously doubt it. This sw is a pice of junk and my
system is still not the same after uninstalling it! In
other words, it didn't totally remove. No, I do not have
other spyware, malware or variants.

I think this software is great but to go from
nothing to MSAS is a real challenge.

A good practise must be to "house clean" all systems
with several methods.

I have kept my MSAS and redundant antispywareprog and no
need for removal. Its there and protect my PC´s.

What isnt working after removal ?
