HI all,
I've been trying to get this screen saver that I dowloaded from
http://www.geocities.com/smpst46/ekg/ to work under Windows XP
Professional. I know that the site says it was designed for Windows
3.1 & 95, but shouldn't it still also wrok under XP too? Any help will
be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!!!
Regards,
Steve B.

Carey has posted possible help. To answer your question, no, it shouldn't
still work under XP too. Many screen savers that work or worked with
Windows 9x and earlier will not work with XP. XP is vastly different under
the hood than Windows 9x and even more so than Windows 3.1. Many screen
savers designed for the previous OSs simply don't and won't work in XP.

Just *copy* the .SCR and DLL to
C:/WINDOWS/SYSTEM32
Works fine....

Nope, not always and not with every screen saver but it's certainly worth a
shot.
