Everytime I right click on an audio file (usually to delete or rename
it) my pc says 'windows explorer has encountered a problem and needs to
close'. this also happens when i highlight an audio file and click file
at the top of the windows explorer! The debug option appears, but
doesn't work, and I can find no way to fix this problem! please help!

Possibly a context menu item, or maybe the DivX issue:

Right click causes an error and crashes Explorer.exe after installing
Windows XP SP2 - http://www.winxptutor.com/sp2/divxcrash.htm

Manage the context-menu entries for folders, drives and Namespace
objects - http://windowsxp.mvps.org/context_folders.htm

Right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menu handlers -
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/slowrightclick.htm
