please help, svchost error

I used IE6.0 running on Windows2000 and now I've got a
problem wile Iam onlining there is an error..
"svchost.exe generated error and will be closed by
Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error
log is being created."
caused of this I cannot go to another page or website and
also cannot re-conect the dial-up, so I have to reboot the
machine every time its happened!!!
Who could help me, please!!!!

These days most of us are recommending HijackThis to identify and assist in
the removal of these bad guys. **Post your files to any of the following

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.
