Ok!!! Big Problem!!!! My friends and i recently got
together for a reunion, i recorded the events with my JVC
Digital camcorder, with MiniDV, model no. GR-DVL320U. I
promised everyone that I'd edit the footage with my
computer, VAIO Windows XP Home, PCV-RX755. I transfered
the files to my computer, with Movie Maker 2 Video
Capture Wizard, using AR Acoustic Research proseries II
IEEE 1394 4 pin to 6 pin cable. I edited it using Movie
Maker 2, but when i transfered the finished product back
to my camcorder, the audio had breaks in some parts
making the quality really bad. We've experienced this
problem before and were told to send it to get cleaned,
but the problem was only temporarily fixed. We tried
contacting JVC, but they've been not very much help.
Someone please help!

The export to camera process is the most demanding on your computer. Defrag
your hard drive and turn off other apps as you do it.

Or, maybe save it to a DV-AVI file on your hard drive first, check to be
sure the file isn't fragmented, and use the DVIO utility (Camcorders...
General page of www.papajohn.org) to transfer it to your camcorder.

Ok so I save the movie file to "My Computer"
and then use DVIO to send it to my camcorder. Is this
correct?
