As per the recommendation of the great tutorials linked
from this board, I am using Camtasia Studio Recorder to
create an AVI file, then to burn a Video CD of my PP
presentation.
Everything has gone perfectly:
1) Created the PP presentation and it played back
PERFECTLY (including all inserted audio clips).
2) Setup and used Camtasia to record screen capture from
PowerPoint. Worked as planned and saved finished AVI
file.
3) Properties of finished AVI file indicate "PCM" audio
track (uncompresssed) 16 bit at 352kps, length of 6
minutes.
The problem is that when I play back the AVI file in
Camtasia Player or in Windows Media Player --- I get
great Video, but NO audio at all!
I've checked and rechecked all settings in Camtasia and
they are exactly as directed. (MUTE is OFF, Audio set to
same as manual says to do).
Finally, in case you're wondering, I DO get all audio
when playing the presentation file in PP and YES, audio
was present (through the speakers) as I recorded with
Camtasia.
Please, can anyone tell me what the problem might be?
Thanks,
Jim
