Please help - Motherboard weird behaviour

Hi!

I have a P4S533 mobo with a 2.4 Ghz P4 cpu. I also have enermax 430W ps.

Since 3 days ago, while I play games or surf in the internet, my system
seems to be trying to shut down, i.e. it does
the identical sound than when it shuts down and also, right after, I hear
the identical sound like if my system was re-booting, i.e. like the sound of
system under power up, just before the "beep".

When this occurs, my system freezes temporarily, the system stops to
respond, however i do not loose any data. When this stops, my system goes
back to normal!! As of yet, my system has not shut down. However, i suspect
something is wrong with my mobo and will go worse if I do not do anything...

Could someone help me on this please?

Could be a temporary power glitch. Is there an A/C on the same circuit, or
even in the same building? Does this happen when the A/C compressor kicks
on? -Dave

Dunno if this will help, but do the sounds relate to a computer action
that they didn't relate to in the past. Something must be triggering
those sounds. When you play those games are there any other tasks
running in the background?
