Please help me on the following files, a spyware finding
software tells me that these are spywares and want me to
delete them, please inform me if they are necessary for
windows XP. Thanks.
smss.exe
winlogon.exe
services.exe
lsass.exe
svchost.exe
svchost.exe
spoolsv.exe
 
You are right to question this; some of those files are
definately required. However svchost.exe and winlogin.exe
are two files that could contain spyware. Do a system
restore before you attempt any removals. Some programs
like Kaaza require spyware to run (that is the price we
pay to use them).
 
How can you explain svchost.exe running when Kazaa isn't
open, currently i have 4 svchosts running ;P
 
yea i understand that, i'm sayin if it had spyware it'd
close when Kazaa closed, correct?

No. P2P Networking, just as one example, keeps running until you restart
the computer or manually close P2P. And it defaults to allowing shares, so
you're giving remote computers access without knowing it.
