please help me!!

i am running two operating systems right now (xp home) and (xp prof.). tryed
to delete some stuff off of the xp professional and now my xp home will not
run anymore. all of my files that are useful are on xp home and when i
attempt to open it gives me a <<windowsroot>>system32\hal.dll and tells me
that the following files are missing or corupt. please re-install a copy of
the above file. can anyone tell me how to get my hands on this file, can i
still acess my information on xp home? thanks for the help and or
suggestions :)

Perhaps the files are still in the Recycle Bin. Try restoring from there
first. Also try this website http://www.dll-files.com/
