I am having some problems with the hct12.1 test when i am using it to
test my usb camera driver.

There's error in file: pmtes3_1.log.
How can i do?
//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

I think that your mainboard don't support S3 or S4 function. you can try to config the ACPI option in BIOS.

Thank you Milo!
I checked my main board and found that my board don't s3 or s4 .
So if i must get a board that supports these function?
If this test must be passed?

Hello rex.
about test hardware.please view the following information:
1.Each hardware (except your test device ) must be included on the Microsoft Windows Hardware CompatibilityList (HCL).
2.The unmodified system BIOS of the test system should support S1, S3 and S4 power management states and meet Windows Logo System and Device Requirements 2.0

Thank you very much!
But i found that the mainboard in out computer market supports mostly the
s1&s3 state.
I can't find the mainboard that supports s1&s3&s4.
Please tell me the mainboards-type that supports the state if you have time.

hi,eddy, you can choose the mainboard that support S1&S3, S4 funcation will be support by Windows OS(XP or 2003).
In fact, ACPI funcation test only verify S1 and S3 in previous HCT. After HCT 12.0 or later, S1 stress and S3 stress test is combined ACPI Stress test. please choose the mainboard which pass WHQL. you can choose your test system from the following link:http://testedproducts.windowsmarketplace.com/results.aspx?&bCatID=748&cpID=0&ocID=0&OR=1
It is all pass the WHQL test mainboard list.
If you have any question about your WHQL test, please free and kindly to tell me. I wil try my best to help you! ^_^

I have found a mainboard that support s1,s3,s4.
The s1&s3 state can be set in the bios.
The s4 state can't be set in the bios.It must be set in the system.
If a system support s4 state,it can be suspend while press power button.
