Hollow all:
I am having some problems with the hct12.1 test when i am using it to
test my usb camera driver.

My usb device can't do audio capture. So is this test necessary to do?
The screenshot is in this link:

And i have question about "additional hardware and software requirements" in
hct document.
If i must use one of the "requirements" in "additional hardware and software
requirements"?
But my device does not have these interface or function-part.
My device is a usb device and can do only video capture.
How can i do?????
I copy it here:

Windows HCT 12.1 - Video

Audio or Video Capture and Control test
The Audio or Video Capture and Control test verifies that audio or video
capture devices (including but not limited to DV camcorders, TV Tuners, and
IEEE 1394/USB video conferencing cameras and microphones) support WDM Stream
Class and DirectShow filter graph functionality. Individual test cases
verify preview, capture, and playback of audio/video obtained from the
capture device. The test also validates that the devices adheres correctly
to power management functionality while the device is streaming and verifies
that the device can function during display resolution changes.

In addition to verifying compliance with the Microsoft DirectShow
application programming interface (API) to manipulate a capture driver in
many different ways, the Audio or Video Capture and Control test reviews the
performance of the audio or video capture device during the capture or
preview process, verifying return values and settings while applying stress
on the system capture architecture.

Hello rex.
I view your screenshot.
1. about USB Device Framework test. it is necessary for WHQL test. now, this test item status is abnormal!
Please confirm your mainboard support USB 2.0, and don't connect directly your test device with comptuer, a USB 2.0 hub is needed.
2. question: do your device support Video Capture function?

Thank you very much!
My device supports the function of pc camera.
I checked my mainboard and found it does not support s4 and usb2.
"USB Device Framework test" property shows that my mainboard does not
support usb2.
So i decide to buy a new mainboard that supports them.
