Please help...large icons

Hi,
I installed a cheap/lousy game and when I tried to play it...my display went
totally black. I had to use the power button to cut computer off. I cut it
back on and my desktop icons were huge and the start button was
larger...windows were also larger and the entire display had a thick black
bar/border surrounding it. I uninstalled the game and restarted but it still
has huge icons, start, etc. Not sure if the game did this or not...but is
there a way to get back my original look of everything? Help :(

It sounds like the game set your display resolution very low. Go to the
Display applet in Control Panel and set the colors to High and the
resolution for the correct one for your monitor.

Thanks so much for your help. I tried this and it still doesn't look the
same but it did make the icons, etc look smaller. My wallpaper and screen
saver had changed too. Do you think doing System Restore would make it go
back to the way it was? I was hesitant about trying that. Thanks again..

Right click Desktop > Properties
Select a different theme and click OK
Reboot
Open the display properties again and then select the theme you were using.
