Please help, infected with trojan?

I was recently surfing the web when i was directed to a malicious link, i
heard my hard drive rumbling and the first thing i thought was that a trojan
had been installed. I rebooted and i was correct. Whenever i start up
internet explorer it has it's own home page, and if i change it when restart
internet explorer it changes it back. Im on windows 98. Thanks for any help.
