Please help if you can!

I have a presentation tomorrow, and I'm having some weird
things happening with the notes. I'm using PowerPoint
2002, and a Dell projector. For some reason, the notes
are appearing on the projector/viewer as well as my
laptop. Is there some way to make it so that the notes
only appear on my laptop, for only me to see?

1) Check your laptop to see if you've set things up to show a "2nd screen"
[right-click on desktop, select properties...then 'settings', see if you
have 2 screens 'active'...if so, your projector is the 2nd screen...if not,
then select the 2nd screen, right click it and click on "attach"]...

Next steps "assume" that you have a 2nd screen activated

Check your settings under Slide-Show, Set-up Show. Check to see if you have
anything under the "Multiple Monitors" section (right side).
Display slide show should be on 2nd monitor (if you've set that up. "I"
like to click on the Show Presenter View so that I see notes and upcoming
slides in addition to the present slide.

Using PPT 2002, you must have a multiple monitor capable video card
(commonly called 'extended desktop'). Go to SLIDE SHOW in the top menu bar
and select SET UP SHOW. On the lower right side is the option for MULTIPLE
MONITORS, checkmark SHOW PRESENTER VIEW. This enables the notes on your
laptop and the slides on the projector.
